 Welcome to my Blog.
I strongly believe that there is no life without  an element of fiction. Indeed all of our daily experiences have a tint  of fiction in it (“You know I was really panic-stricken when the  elevator suddenly stopped on the 20th floor”). The fictional  component of such  experiences gets even more magnified when it  gets narrated, on  account of the subjectivity of the narrator.

When Renu (V Standard) comes back from the school, without unloading the bag from the back, starts to explain to her mother – “you know what happened today during lunch break? The mother knows the level of subjectivity the child is going to bring in and the  spice she is going to add while narrating the day’s event either with her friend or with the teacher.  The mother, in fact, enjoys it, though she knows there is a good element of fiction around how the child is explaining the incident. Such is life.  Indeed fiction adds a lot of excitement to life. That is why novels sell in millions and Jurassic Park gets watched by tens of millions of people around the world.

All writings are fictional on account of the subjectivity of the writer, including classics and commercial writings.  The proportion of truth and fiction depends on the character and caliber of the writer and need of that particular piece of work.

The only book which is non-fictional is probably the pincode directory issued by the postal department. Everything else is fictional since they are all narratives carrying the bias of the writer.

I am not setting any rules for what I am going to write on this blog except that I would attempt to connect with the reader and keep it simple.  All the posts will have an element of truth and fiction in the proportion best known to myself.
